Joyce E. Cloud, 89, formerly of Washington, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013 in Orlando, Florida.

Joyce was born on October 30, 1923 in Strahan, Mills County, Iowa to W.W. and Jessie Evelyn (Gue) Molsberry. She married Walter J. Cloud on August 16, 1947 in Montrose, Iowa. Walter preceded her in death on May 12, 1994.

Among those surviving is her daughter, Cheryl (David) Cloud Allen, of Orlando, Florida, her son, David E. Cloud of St. Cloud, Florida and her son, Mark A. (Miriam) Cloud of Washington, Illinois; two brothers, Keith Molsberry of Henderson, Nevada and Blaine Molsberry of Orange, California; one granddaughter, three step-grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Joyce graduated Montrose High School in Montrose, Iowa then attended Merrill-Palmer School in Detroit, Michigan then earned her degree from Iowa State University in 1946.

She worked at Sheaffer Pen Company, was Director of Neighborhood House daycare center, taught at Pleasant Hill Elementary School in East Peoria and District 50 Elementary School in Washington.

Joyce was a long-time member of Crossroads United Methodist church in Washington, IL and an associate member of First United Methodist church, Orlando, Florida. She was a member of United Methodist Women, Alpha Delta teacher sorority and Tazewell County Retired Teachers Association.

Visitation was 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Mason-White Funeral Home, 20 Valley Forge Road, Washington, Illinois 61571. Her graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 4, 2013 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, 21925 Washington Road, Morton, IL 61550.
