Time to get ready for the Luck o' the Pumpkin! Isle of Erin will host Irish step dance classes at the library for four weeks leading up to the 2019 Morton Pumpkin Festival. Class participants age 6-13 will have the opportunity to join the dance troupe and other library dance students for a performance on the Pumpkin Festival entertainment stage on Friday, September 13. Registration is required. *Register once for all four classes and Pumpkin Festival performance.
Looking for ways to use your fresh garden herbs? Register for Eat, Drink & Be Rosemary on August 15 at 6:30 p.m. Learn ways to store and cook with fresh herbs. Taste test pesto, mint lemonade and other delicious recipes. Bring any of your favorite fresh herb recipes to share and snip a few samples from their herb pots to take home. Registration is required.
On September 9 at 6:30 p.m., Leda Herman will share about her experience as a stroke victim and how she made the most of her time afterwards, including completing a list of 93 new things to do before turning 94! Registration is required.
