In times of loneliness, boredom, anxiety, and stress, why do we tend to turn to food to seek temporary relief from our negative emotions? By understanding what emotional eating is and finding healthy ways to satisfy those food cravings, we can be successful in our diabetes management. “Taking Comfort in Food” will provide tips to prevent overeating, as well as healthy food swaps to make your favorite comfort foods more diabetic friendly.

Diabetes clinics are informal but informational walk-in programs with a different topic each month designed especially for persons living with diabetes. This webinar is being offered in place of the usual in-person Diabetes Clinic programs. There is no cost to register for this program.
