Interactive Media students at Bradley University and students at LIT Limerick School of Art and Design in Clonmel are participating in a unique "art exchange" project.

Bradley and LIT have recently started a semester abroad student exchange program, and Marie Walsh, a lecturer at LIT, reached out to Scott Cavanah, an interactive media professor at Bradley, about a unique opportunity for an "art exchange" project. The project is called Out My Window.

A student from Clonmel was randomly paired with a student from Bradley, and each was asked to look out a window, then write a description of what they saw and how they felt. That description was sent to their partner across the Atlantic, and the recipient made a piece of art based upon the written description. A total of 35 pairs (70 students) participated.

The students had two weeks to complete this voluntary project, then they met each other via skype and shared their artwork. The works are being printed and will be displayed at Bradley and Clonmel.

Sarah Gunter of Morton participated in the project.
