For the third month of the season, Fourth Fridays returns to downtown Morton on Friday, June 28 from 5-8 p.m. with its artisan market, live music, family-friendly activities and great shopping.
Families are encouraged to stop by the Family Zone at Memorial Plaza, featuring fun activities for all ages with the Morton Public Library, Trinity Church, balloon art with The Unique Twist, and other games hosted by local nonprofit organizations.
Those interested in some healthy living activities are welcomed to stop by the outdoor pop-up exercise classes on the library lawn. Health screenings hosted by Van Zant Medical Group and additional educational opportunities will also be available along Jefferson St. And don’t forget to wear your walking shoes or bring your bike, as the route to visit all the Morton Fourth Friday stops is a little over a mile long!
If you are looking to add some art and culture to your Friday night, local galleries and restaurants will be offering live music and art showings. The artisan market along Main Street will feature works from several local artists, and street performers will be spread throughout downtown providing background music and entertainment in between your stops.
