The Morton Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Council are now recruiting Mentors for the 2019/2020 Morton HS School Year!

Now in its fourth year, student interest in the program continues to grow and mentors are invited to register and help students explore career paths of interest.

More than 40 mentors are needed in the following career clusters: agriculture, food and natural resources, architecture and construction, arts, A/V technology and communications, business management and administration, education and training, finance, government and public administration, health sciences, hospitality and tourism, human services, information technology, law, public safety, corrections and security, manufacturing; marketing, science, technology; engineering and mathematics, transportation, and distribution and logistics.

The application deadline for mentors is July 31, 2019, after which mentors will be invited to an orientation to equip them with the program details and toolkit for successful meetings with their mentees.  The program will kick off with an opening reception, and then mentors and students will meet four more times over the course of the school year.  Orientation dates and additional information can be found on the Morton Chamber of Commerce website at https://www.mortonchamber.org/morton-mentor
