The Morton AAUW will host a holiday photo shoot on November 11 from 1-4 p.m. and November 12-13 from 9-4 p.m. at the Barn, located at 1811 West Jefferson St, Morton, IL.

Families can book a 15-minute private session for $30 and use two indoor and one outdoor staged setting, with professional lighting, to get a head start on their holiday photos and Christmas cards. Participants should bring their own camera and wish-list because Santa will be on site, if you wish to have him included in your photos. Volunteers will be on hand to help with photographs as needed. Friendly pets are also welcome. Visit holidayphoto.eventbrite.com to book your time slot as space is limited.

Proceeds will benefit the Morton chapter of American Association of University Women, which is the oldest women’s organization in the United States. It advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education and research.  Membership is open to any graduate with an associate or equivalent degree or higher. Monthly meetings are held September through May. The Morton AAUW sponsors a $1,000 grant each spring to a woman obtaining an advanced degree and holds monthly STEAM programming for girls in grades 4-7 at the Morton Public Library.
