Handmade Cards by Kids
Children in grades 4-6 have two opportunities to make cards for someone in need. On November 4 at 3:30 p.m., create "Happy Notes" for hospitalized kids. On November 11 at 2 p.m., "Thank a Hero" and create cards for veterans. All supplies for these programs will be provided and cards will be sent from the Library.
Play is an important part of early literacy. Drop-in on Wednesdays in November from 10 a.m.-noon for play and sensory activities that parents/caregivers and children can do together. This program is designed for ages 18 months-4 years.
Sara from So Chic Events will be at the Library on November 7 at 6:30 p.m. to share her expert tips on setting a beautiful and inviting table for your holiday dinners! She'll show you how to add style with simple, everyday items that don't break the bank, but add a lot of charm to your parties. Registration is required.
Coffee and Coloring
Who says kids get to have all the fun? Stop by on November 9 between 9:30-11:30 a.m. for a relaxing morning of coffee and coloring! Supplies provided, whether you prefer to color on paper or using an app on a tablet. Enjoy the library coffee and tea bar and soothing music. Stop by for five minutes, or stay for a couple of hours!
