Medicare

Find out how new federal law as of Jan 1, 2020 affects you in the free, educational seminar, ABCs of Medicare. Learn who qualifies for Medicare, how much it costs, enrollment periods, parts A-D and more. The presentation including pizza and refreshments, will be provided by Ted Carpenter, Independent Insurance Consultant. Registration required.  

Handmade Cards by Kids

Children in grades 4-6 have two opportunities to make cards for someone in need. On November 4 at 3:30 p.m., create "Happy Notes" for hospitalized kids. On November 11 at 2 p.m., "Thank a Hero" and create cards for veterans. All supplies for these programs will be provided and cards will be sent from the Library.

Sensory Play

Play is an important part of early literacy. Drop-in on Wednesdays in November from 10 a.m.-noon for play and sensory activities that parents/caregivers and children can do together. This program is designed for ages 18 months-4 years. 

Holiday Tables

Sara from So Chic Events will be at the Library on November 7 at 6:30 p.m. to share her expert tips on setting a beautiful and inviting table for your holiday dinners! She'll show you how to add style with simple, everyday items that don't break the bank, but add a lot of charm to your parties. Registration is required.

Coffee and Coloring

Who says kids get to have all the fun? Stop by on November 9 between 9:30-11:30 a.m. for a relaxing morning of coffee and coloring! Supplies provided, whether you prefer to color on paper or using an app on a tablet. Enjoy the library coffee and tea bar and soothing music. Stop by for five minutes, or stay for a couple of hours!
