The public is invited to attend the fourth annual Night Under the Lights tennis event to remember and honor former Lincoln teacher and Morton High School tennis coach, Joal Stanfield.  Joal passed away unexpectedly five years ago, and this event was organized as a way to honor Joal's love of tennis, connecting with people and having fun.

This year's event will be held on Thursday, September 19 at 7 p.m. at the Morton High School Tennis Complex.  The MHS Tennis teams and volunteers would love to have the public join them for this free, fun-filled evening as they honor Joal's profound impact on the tennis program and the community.

Anyone interested in purchasing a t-shirt that commemorates the event are asked to order by September 2 using the link https://forms.gle/FV8Lq7Hwzwqw5Ajq8.  T-shirts are $15.

Proceeds from this event go toward the Joal T. Stanfield Memorial MHS Tennis Endowment Fund with the Morton Community Foundation.  This endowed fund provides the MHS Tennis Program with an annual grant to be used toward enriching the tennis facility and team.
