Carol S. Revelle, 80, of The Villages, FL, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Summerfield Suites in Florida.
She was born February 28, 1943, in Colfax, IL, to Hubert and Lorraine (Wilson) Jones. Carol married Dan Smith and later married Gerald “Jerry” Revelle. Carol and her husband Jerry have enjoyed their retirement in Florida.
Surviving is her husband, Jerry Revelle of The Villages, FL; her twin sister, Karen Wire of Berrien Springs, MI; sister, Doris (Art) Mitchell of Lafayette, IN; four brothers, Ron (Barbara) Jones of Channahon, IL, Bob (Fran) Jones of Mt. Zion, IL, and Sam (Sharla) Jones of Grapevine, TX; many nieces and nephews; three stepdaughters, Laura (Steve) Smith, Julie (Eric) Knuth and Valerie Medina; and five step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, George Jones.
Carol worked for State Farm Insurance in Bloomington, IL, and later moved to Lake of the Ozarks, where she owned and operated a boat marina.
Doing puzzles and playing games with her friends, especially bunco, brought much joy to Carol.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Hirstein Cemetery in Morton, with Pastor Tim Bertsche officiating.
