Meredith L. Bradley-Tidwell, 71, of Morton, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at OSF Richard L. Owen Hospice in Peoria.
She was born on August 3, 1951, in Pekin, IL, to Joseph and Barbara (Swift) Fox. She married John Tidwell in Bloomington, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are three children, Jeff (Heather) Tidwell, Kelly (Dean) Juergens and Kendra (Carl) Sipes, all of Washington, IL; seven grandchildren; brother, David (Anna) Fox of Anchorage, AK; niece, Shannon (Ted) VanDyke; nephew, Greg Phelps; and one great-niece.
She was preceded in death by both parents; and one nephew, Kevin Fox.
Meredith graduated from Lincoln High School in Stockton, CA. She earned multiple college degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts from San Diego State University, Master of Arts from the University of Illinois and Master of Business Administration from Bradley University.
Meredith worked 37 years at Caterpillar Inc. as an IT analyst and corporate auditor.
She was a certified information systems auditor and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Both, she and her husband were certified instrument rated pilots and scuba divers.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton with Pastor Tim Bertsche officiating.
Memorials may be made to Tazewell Animal Protective Society (TAPS) or American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
