The GFWC Illinois Metamora-Germantown Hills Junior Woman’s Club is proud to announce that their 46th Annual Breakfast with Santa held on Saturday, December 1 was a successful one. The proceeds of $1,300 benefited the various community needs.
The Junior Woman’s Club would like to offer its sincere thanks to the following individuals and businesses: Santa, for taking time out of his busy schedule to attend the breakfast and be with all his small friends; to the local businesses who generously gave monetary donations, gift certificates, or merchandise for the raffle; Dr. Shawn Buhr DMD, PC in Metamora; Casey’s in Metamora and Germantown Hills; CEFCU in Germantown Hills; Costco in East Peoria; Country Insurance, Bill Christ in Metamora; Country Financial, Neal Beer in Germantown Hills; Donna and Tim Cross, Eli’s Coffee; Germantown Autobody in Germantown Hills; Goodfield State Bank in Metamora; Heartland Bank & Trust in Metamora and Germantown Hills; Metamora McDonald’s; Par-A-Dice Casino in East Peoria; Peoria Rivermen; and Walmart in Washington.
A special thank you to Metamora IGA for donating donuts for our breakfast, Metamora Grade School kitchen for coffee, and Washington Kroger’s.
A special thank you also to the Metamora Grade School CCSD#1, Metamora Grade School cafeteria personnel, Metamora High School National Honor Society, Metamora High School Key Club, CVS Pharmacy, and Club members’ families for helping at the breakfast.
