The Panthers took over from there, scoring three unanswered goals to take a 3-1 win, giving third-year coach Stephen Spitzer his first victory over Moline. The varsity game also went scoreless into the half before the Panthers ignited for three straight goals in the second, all within a three-minute stretch, and maintained the lead on their way to a 3-1 victory over a strong Moline team who went into the game with a 15-2 record.
