City Tournament

During the final weekend before classes began, this year’s City Tournament between the Beverly Manor, Central Intermediate School, St. Patrick’s and Washington Middle School junior high baseball teams was held August 13-14 at the Washington Park District fields near Lincoln Grade School.  A total of six games were played as each school played one game vs each of the other schools over the weekend.  The WMS Panthers went 3-0 for the tournament and became this year’s City Champions.
