Teen Holiday Party

The Washington District Library will host a Teen Holiday Party on Thursday, December 12, at 5 p.m. in the Main Library. Wear an ugly Christmas sweater and celebrate the holidays at the library! Watch a seasonal movie (they’ll vote that night), decorate cookies, make an ornament and more!  For teens in grades 6-12.

The Midnight Society for Teens

Washington District Library will host The Midnight Society for Teens on Friday, December 13, at 5 p.m. in the Main Library. They meet every Friday the 13th to watch scary movies, tell stories and more!  This December’s event will be, Are You Afraid of the Dark and pizza!

Drop-In Gift Wrapping

Washington District Library will host drop-in gift-wrapping Saturday, December 14 from noon-3 p.m. in the Main Library.  Enjoy classic holiday movies and hot cocoa while you wrap your presents!  Bring your gifts and the library will provide paper and the supplies for wrapping and making tags.

Morning Movie

The Washington District Library will host a morning movie Monday, December 16 at 10 a.m. in the Sunnyland Branch Library.  They will be showing a 2019 PG-13 rated film about a man who realizes he is the only person on Earth who can remember The Beatles.  Popcorn will be provided.

Electronic Devices: How to Choose and Use Them

Washington District Library will host “Electronic Devices: How to Choose and Use Them” Tuesday, December 17 at 10 a.m. in the Main Library.  They will cover all your questions about tablets and smartphones!
