Bob Streitmatter, Registered Landscape Architect and Garden Manager of Luthy Botanical Garden, will present “Gardening with Four Seasons of Interest” at the September 24 meeting of the Town & Country Gardeners in the Miller Room, Five Points Washington, 360 N. Wilmor Road, Washington at 6:45 p.m. Streitmatter will discuss how the best gardens are those with good structure and interest throughout the year.  He will share some fun design elements, as well as a plant palette for all seasons.

The program is free and open to the public.  Refreshments will be served starting at 6:30 p.m., and the garden club will also sell tulip bulbs and specialty tote bags during this time, with proceeds going toward city beautification projects.

Town & Country Gardeners is a community organization open to anyone with an interest in gardening, civic beautification and conservation.  For more information, contact Cindy Byrd at 309-657-7528.
