Adult Drop-In Crafts

Washington District Library will host drop-in crafts for adults on Wednesday, July 24 at 6 p.m. at the main library.  The library will have a huge variety of craft supplies and tools from past programs, so stop by and get creative.  Staff will be on hand for suggestions and assistance as needed.

Teen/Tween Camping 101

Washington District Library will host Teen/Tween Camping 101 on Thursday, July 25 at 2 p.m. at the main library.  Learn some basic camping skills from Cassie and Emily at the library!  Set up tents, learn to build a fire and more!  For age nine through 14.

Tech Talk: Genealogy Resources

Washington District Library will host a tech talk on genealogy resources on Thursday, July 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the main library.  Whether you are just starting on your genealogy journey or you have been doing it for a while, stop in to find out about using Ancestry and other digital resources to help you research your family history.

Genealogy Meetup

Washington District Library will host a genealogy meetup on Friday, July 26 at 2:30 at the main library.  Share your recent genealogical finds with others!  Get help using Ancestry Library Edition and other library resources to explore your family’s history.  Light refreshments will be provided.

Challenger Learning Center

Washington District Library will host the Challenger Learning Center on Sunday, July 28 at 2 p.m. at the main library.  Fifty years ago, the first humans set foot on the moon. Celebrate this historic event by getting up close and personal with Earth’s neighbor moon and learn about NASA’s next steps through hands-on activities, stories and more.  All ages are welcome.
