The Threads, Hope and Love charity organization will be hosting a Garden Party on Saturday, July 20 at 1 p.m. Threads is located at 121 Zinser Place, Washington, IL. Former science teacher, Robert Bell, will be showing his butterfly gardens and teaching guests how to raise their own, to help save the butterflies. The garden in front of Threads, Hope and Love is alive with beauty thanks to Mr. Bell’s dedication to providing resources that increase the world’s population of butterflies. His gardens are now Certified Butterfly Gardens through the North American Butterfly Association. He is an expert in this field and has been giving speeches to many groups interested in preserving natural habitats.

The community is invited to attend and enjoy the gardens. Cupcakes, cookies and refreshments will be provided, as well as tours of the mission.
