The Washington Chamber of Commerce celebrated the Washington District Library remodel on May 11, 2021.   The Main Library closed on March 31 for new flooring, paint and furniture, along with reconfiguring the layout of the library to better suit patrons needs. The Washington District Library reopened on May 10, 2021.  Improvements were made to the main entrance, central space, adult area, teen area and children’s area.
