CIS students earn top score

On Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, Central Intermediate School hosted the IESA State Speech Contest. Seven schools participated in the event with 250 students performing. Nearly 70 of those students were CIS students coached by Mrs. Woolard and Miss Davidshofer. Students performed scripted pieces, original pieces, or improv, either alone or in small groups to earn scores from judges. Here students from CIS eagerly check to see if their scores have been posted after their sessions were complete. All were excited to see they earned the top score of one for their various performances.
